Tour Itinerary: Marrakech New Year’s Eve Desert Tour 2021
Day 1 Marrakech Airport « 28 Décembre 2020 »
Once you arrive to Marrakech airport, you will find our driver waiting for you to pick you up and to show you the hotel where you will have dinner and spend the first night.
Day 2 Exploring Marrakech - Full Day - « 29 December 2020 »
On the second day, after having breakfast, you will explore the charm of Marrakech with our local tour guide who will show you around the red city to see the historical monuments and places of cultural interest like the Majorelle Garden, the Koutoubia Tower and the Bahia Palace. After a small lunch break in restaurant (included) beside the square we will have time to explore its wonderful souks and handicraft shops. Around 18h00 PM, you will return back to the hotel to have dinner and spend the second night there.
Day 3 Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Gorges « 30 Décembre 2020 »
After breakfast, we will depart to Ait Benhaddou over the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou and stop for having lunch in a local restaurant. In the Afternoon, we will head to Ouarzazate where we will stop near the atlas film studio for taking some pictures and then continue driving to the Kasbah of Taourirt. After that we will go to Kalaa Mgouna or Boumalne Dades for dinner and an overnight stay in hotel.
Day 4 Kelaa M’gouna – Dades Gorges – Todra Gorges – Erg Chebbi « 31 Décembre 2020 »
On the fourth day, after breakfast, we will drive towards Tineghir passing by Boumalne Dades and stopping for a picturesque view of Dades valley. We will continue to Todra gorges via Imider and Tineghir which is a charming town known for its superb palm groves. After arriving to Todra Gorges, you will enjoy its gorgeous Canyons views while hiking on foot. In the afternoon we will continue to Tinjedad and have a break for lunch then driving to Erfoud where you will visit a local fossil craft workshop. Afterwards you will go to the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi which called also Merzouga Dunes to get ready for a camel trek for an hour and half enjoying the sunset. In a traditional luxury nomad tent, you will enjoy dinner and spend the night under stars.
Day 5 Merzouga - Tazarine - Agdz – Ouarzazate « 01 January 2021 »
We will wake up before sunrise to catch the first glimpses of the sun, have breakfast in the camp and ride camels back to the hotel for a quick shower. Thereafter, we will drive to Rissani which is a small Saharan town in southeast of Morocco to visit another fossil workshop and to go after that to the Agdez and Draa valley junction where we will head north to Ouarzazate. You will have dinner and spend the night in a lovely Riad in Ouarzazate.
Day 6 Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech « 02 January 2021 »
On the last day, after having breakfast, you will visit the famous cinema studio in Ouarzazate which is known as Africa’s Hollywood to head after that to the UNISCO Heritage site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah where some of the modern classics like gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and Indiana jones were shot. Then, you will get the chance to visit the Kasbahs to learn about Moroccan architecture to finally take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the Atlas Mountains to return back to Marrakech. We will stop at the mountains for having lunch while Dinner and the overnight stay will be in Hotel.
Day 7 Transfer Airport Marrakech « 03 January 2021 »
You will be transported to the airport according to your flight schedule and wish you farewell and hope we have left you lasting memories of Morocco.

The fixed price of the shared group tour is 849€ per person. However it might seem a bit higher than other so-called "providers", but do not be fooled; the maximum number of participants in our groups is 8 people and the tour can begin with only 4 people, as we believe that the less number of participants in the group makes the tour quite similar to a private one, in addition to providing you with high-quality services throughout the tour.

1. What's the difference that distinguishes between shared and private tours?
The main difference between private and shared tours is that you will share the vehicles of transportation with other people during the shared tours, while rooms and tents are private in both types. You can even choose to stay separated from the group during the mealtime. The private tours are distinguished by guaranteed departure, as we are committed to offering the tour once confirming your booking. By contrast, shared tours require a minimum of 4 participants to start. If the minimum number is not met, we give you the choice to have a free cancellation or make a deal to continue as a private tour.
2. Can I have vegetarian/vegan food during the tour?
Yes, the vegetarian or vegan food is an available choice on your tour, just let us know when booking and you can remind your driver during the tour.
3. Can I get the desert camp without camel trekking?
Of course, as there is a dedicated 4x4 car that we use to transport the luggage and clients who don't have any interest in riding camels. and if you Choosing a private tour, we will arrange you to travel in a comfortable 4x4 car throughout the tour, even to reach the desert camp, all you need is to let us know during the booking process.
4. Are there private bathrooms in the camp?
Yes, our basic package includes camps that are considered as luxury ones with fully-equipped tents having ensuite showers and bathrooms at no extra cost.
5. Is it possible to take my luggage during the tour?
Certainly, our comfortable vehicles have enough space for large suitcases to enable you to bring it with you, even in the desert. The luggage will be transported to tents of the desert camp by using a 4x4 car.
How can I pay my tour?
To confirm your booking for a tour or an activity, you shall put down a small deposit into our account on PayPal, while the balance is due will be paid in cash to your driver on the day of your tour, either in euros or equivalent in dirhams.
Is it possible to pay by Credit Cards?
Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted because they are not very practical in Morocco, in addition to having higher fees and carrying security risks.
Can I pay the full amount via PayPal?
Due to the operational delays and transaction fees of PayPal, we generally ask for the balance payments in cash. However, in some cases, the full payment via PayPal is accepted, taking into consideration that a 5% fee will be imposed to cover the extra transaction charges. If you decide to pay the full amount via PayPal, it will be better to make the payment before the tour.
