Tour Itinerary: 9 Days Morocco Imperial Cities Trip from Casablanca

Day 1 casablanca airport - rabat - meknes – fes

First, we’ll pick you up from Casablanca airport according to your arrival time. Second, you’ll explore the monuments of this Economic capital from the Square of the United Nations, the Boulevard Mohamed V, and the Anfa to the Corniche and the famous Great Mosque Hassan II .Then departure to Rabat where you get the opportunity to visit Hassan Tower and the prestigious Mohamed V Mausoleum, spend some fun time in the gardens and the Kasbah of Oudaya and pass by the Royal Palace, built between the 18th and 20th century. Our journey will continue to Morocco’s capital in the Ismailian Era, Meknes, with its towering ramparts, the famous Bab Mansour gate, the royal stables and the Jewish quarter. Finally, we’ll cross the holy city of Moulay Driss via the ruins of Volubilis so as to reach Fez for dinner and an overnight stay in hotel.

Fez is the most ancient imperial city and home to the regions first university, built back in the 9th century. It seems to be forgotten by time as it creates a striking fusion between medieval aesthetics and modern design, you shouldn’t miss a thing. Besides, the city is full of vegetable sellers, Oriental pastry bakers, restaurants, laborers and craftsmen that will offer you a cultural experience. As you walk you’ll hear the resonating voice of prayer searing over the rooftops as the artisans beat sheet after sheet of metal into masterpieces.

Day 3 fez - chefchaouen - fez

The third day is all about discovering Chefchaouen, the Rif area’s jewel of Morocco, which is filled with shady alleys, iconic white washed houses with blue turquoise doors, wrought iron windows and tile covered roofs. You’ll enjoy coffee in one of the many Terrace cafes that overlook Tarik-Ben-Ziad mosque whose octagonal minaret is inspired by that of the Torre de Oro in Seville. Afterwards, you’ll learn about the Andalusian style of architecture upon which the Kasbah is designed, then go visit the ethnographic museum that was previously a dungeon in the wall towers. Later on, after spending some good moments in the souk buying some souvenirs for your lovers, you’ll be transported back to the hotel in Fez.

Day 4 fes – beni mellal – marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll head to Marrakech passing through Immouzer El Kander and Azrou which is a Berber village known for its handicraft cooperative. The journey will continue to Beni Mellal through the mid ranges of Atlas that are decorated by shade trees. On our arrival, you’ll have a lunch break then get ready for the next stop, Marrakech. Dinner and an overnight sleep in hotel.

Day 5 exploring marrakech « full day »

We’ll spend all day in the red city of Marrakech visiting the historical monuments and places of cultural interest like the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Bahia Palace and so on. After a small lunch break, you’ll have time to explore the Jemaa el-Fna square, its souks and handicraft shops. The afternoon will be your free time to discover other incredible parts of the city or to do some shopping at your leisure, followed by dinner at Chez Ali with the exciting Fantasia show. An overnight stay in hotel.

Day 6 marrakech - ourika valley – marrakech

For this day, you’ll go for an excursion to Ourika valley, 30 km away from Marrakech, to relieve stress and anxiety of life. Deep in the high Atlas Mountains, the valley is populated by simple Berber and spectacular wildlife; it will inspire your creativity. Thereafter, we’ll proceed to Setti Fatma which is the last remaining Douar in the area, you can hike or ride up the mountain there to discover the 7 waterfalls. After that, you’ll take lunch in the valley then make our way to Marrakech to get a better night’s sleep in hotel.

Day 7 marrakech – eljadida – casablanca

Departure to El Jadida in order to have some fun in the town and to take a glimpse into the port city’s life. Concerning lunch, you will enjoy a fresh seafood before making our way to the next destination, Casablanca. Dinner with an overnight stay in Hotel.

Day 8 casablanca city tour « full day »

In Casablanca, our driver will show you around the city by strolling in the small square of Habbous district and the tight arcade streets that have managed to adapt modern architecture while maintaining the authentic feel of the medina; besides, visiting the very picturesque Mohamed V Square and the United Nations Square that was designed in 1920 by the French architect Joseph Marrast and finally exploring the Hassan II Mosque. You can shop around for all kinds of Souvenirs you want.

Day 9 casablanca airport

After an awesome experience, you will be transferred to the airport according to your flight time looking forward to seeing you again.
