Our 4 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech via Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga gives you the opportunity to see the best of Morocco in just 4 days by seeing the barbary Macacs in Azrou, meeting some nomads living in caves, visiting the donkey market in Rissani, wandering with a local guide in palmary or hiking in Dades valley or Todra gorges, riding camels and gathering around the fire enjoying the sound of traditional Berber drums in desert.
Tour Itinerary: 4 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech
Day 1 Fes - Midelt - Erfoud - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi
On the first day of 4 Days Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech our driver will pick you up from your hotel at 8:00 AM to go directly to Merzouga where there are the dunes of Erg Chebbi. We will cross the Atlas Mountains to go to Tafilalte which is composed of many villages and 2 main Saharan towns, to Erfoud and Rissani then. Along the way, we will make a lot of stops to visit the alpine town of Ifrane, Azrou cedar forest, Midelt for having lunch and Ziz valley for enjoying the wonderful views over the palm trees. Afterwards, we will continue driving until the dunes appear to go to the camp by riding camels. Dinner and overnight stay would be in a gorgeous tented camp.
Day 2 Erg Chebbi - Rissani - Todra Gorges
In early morning, after breakfast, we will ride camels back to the hotel for having a quick shower and making our way to the Sahara town of Rissan. Thereafter, we will head north to Erfoud where we will stop to visit a fossil workshop to continue after that to the wonderful Todra canyons which is known for the sport of rock climbing. Dinner and overnight stay will be in hotel.
Day 3 Todra Gorges - Dades Valley - Skoura - Ouarzazate
After having Breakfast in hotel, we will start our journey by taking the road of 1000 Thousand Kasbahs, passing through Dades valley and going up to the mountainous area where you will see many Berber villages and meet few nomads living in caves to know about their daily life and their main activities. On the way to Skoura palm grove, you will be impressed by the landscapes of the colorful rose valley. Then, after your arrival to Ouarzazate, you will check in at your hotel to have dinner and spend the third night there.
Day 4 Ouarzazate - Ait Benhaddou - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech
On the last day, after breakfast, you will visit the cinema sets and studios which are located in Ouarzazate known as Hollywood of Africa. Then, you will visit the universal Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah which is the World Heritage site that has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including "Gladiator", "Indiana Jones" and "Lawrence of Arabia". Thereafter, you will Enjoy a short walk to explore the Kasbahs’ traditional Moroccan style of architecture to finally head to Marrakech passing through the High Atlas Mountains where we will stop to have a Break for lunch. Our driver will drop you off at your Marrakech Riad/Hôtel.

The fixed price of the shared group tour is 394€ per person. However it might seem a bit higher than other so-called "providers", but do not be fooled; the maximum number of participants in our groups is 8 people and the tour can begin with only 4 people, as we believe that the less number of participants in the group makes the tour quite similar to a private one, in addition to providing you with high-quality services throughout the tour.

1. What's the difference that distinguishes between shared and private tours?
The main difference between private and shared tours is that you will share the vehicles of transportation with other people during the shared tours, while rooms and tents are private in both types. You can even choose to stay separated from the group during the mealtime. The private tours are distinguished by guaranteed departure, as we are committed to offering the tour once confirming your booking. By contrast, shared tours require a minimum of 4 participants to start. If the minimum number is not met, we give you the choice to have a free cancellation or make a deal to continue as a private tour.
2. Can I have vegetarian/vegan food during the tour?
Yes, the vegetarian or vegan food is an available choice on your tour, just let us know when booking and you can remind your driver during the tour.
3. Can I get the desert camp without camel trekking?
Of course, as there is a dedicated 4x4 car that we use to transport the luggage and clients who don't have any interest in riding camels. and if you Choosing a private tour, we will arrange you to travel in a comfortable 4x4 car throughout the tour, even to reach the desert camp, all you need is to let us know during the booking process.
4. Are there private bathrooms in the camp?
Yes, our basic package includes camps that are considered as luxury ones with fully-equipped tents having ensuite showers and bathrooms at no extra cost.
5. Is it possible to take my luggage during the tour?
Certainly, our comfortable vehicles have enough space for large suitcases to enable you to bring it with you, even in the desert. The luggage will be transported to tents of the desert camp by using a 4x4 car.
Payment methods
How can I pay my tour?
To confirm your booking for a tour or an activity, you shall put down a small deposit into our account on PayPal, while the balance is due will be paid in cash to your driver on the day of your tour, either in euros or equivalent in dirhams.
Is it possible to pay by Credit Cards?
Unfortunately, credit cards are not accepted because they are not very practical in Morocco, in addition to having higher fees and carrying security risks.
Can I pay the full amount via PayPal?
Due to the operational delays and transaction fees of PayPal, we generally ask for the balance payments in cash. However, in some cases, the full payment via PayPal is accepted, taking into consideration that a 5% fee will be imposed to cover the extra transaction charges. If you decide to pay the full amount via PayPal, it will be better to make the payment before the tour.
